What to BLOG about?
Maybe if I point at my head it'll get the message that I want to make a decision.
I’m interested in a whole range of subjects, but it’s obvious that people aren’t going to find me in a search if my topic is ill-formed. I need to be specific. I’m interested in music and self-development, but filmmaking, screenwriting and websites are my professional skills. I teach these at university. Since I already have a film site and I BLOG about web development and shifts in technology on my business site, I already have professional subject outlets. The world is just so chock-full of interesting things.
In some sense I’m just blogging for the fun of it right here. I said yes to more uni work for next term, so that will be a bit like having a full time job. I’ll be teaching begginer and advanced web design along with database development and usability.
I’m learning to play the piano. Slowly. I’ve done two lessons so far and don’t have a specific site about that. beginner sites are cool. It also feels like a good fit for a site with my actual name. Perhaps it would encourage me to practice more. Subjects like piano practice and blogging increase in importance as I get older. They are fun and dealable with. I can see a gardening BLOG on the horizon!
